In 1998, a sixth grade Parma resident set a new school record at Pleasant Valley Elementary by running one and a half miles in the annual nine minute run. To date, the record is yet to be broken.

Death Mask

In January 1936, a plaster reproduction of a murdered man's head was placed on display at the Great Lakes Exposition. Cleveland Police hoped that the identification of this decapitated head would lead to information on the suspected murderer, the infamous Torso Killer.
