The Happiest Sound Around

The National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame features world-renowned musicians such as Frankie Yankovic, Johnny Vadnal, Johnny Pecon and Eddie Habat, who lived in the Collinwood neighborhood. Cleveland-Style polka has its roots in Slovenian folk music and represents the music of central Europe with an American influence.

One of the best things about the Polka Hall of Fame is that it's FREE -- one of Cleveland's many small, free museums.

Ok, I think the question that is on everyone's mind that we're just too afraid to ask is who is the hotty hot that's on the main page there? He's my actual hero. Is he AT the polka museum? Because if so, I'm SO there.
Lee when are you ever going to go in your attic and find the musty rusty accordion that your dad supposedly once owned?
Drag him to a hole until he wakes up naked clawing at the ceiling of his grave... ohhhh...

Allyson, I can't believe you thought I was Michael. Now definitely THAT I will take personally.
Though I'm not telling you who I am because I still believe there's a certain amount of mystery behind the clevelandfacts blog site.

This blog was created to increase the public's awareness of the many positive things Cleveland has to offer, in an effort to dispell the inferiority complex this city has. How did it manage to turn into a forum for bashing all our friends?

You know what I appreciate about Cleveland? It has an amazing art museum which, as you may be aware, is undergoing a massive renovation right now. I think we're very fortunate to live by such an extensive collection of historic art.

the jackson pollack there is phenomenal. however, right now, you cant even get to it. so once its done in 2010, we'll have to go have a look see. and by then i'll be old enough to drink, so we should totally go drinking afterwards... at the many "happening" bars cleveland offers.
but the cleveland art museum is DEFINETELY the BEST part of cleveland. anyone dare to challenge me?

Without a doubt, the best part about Cleveland is that lies adjacent to the finest community on the planet: Parma.
