In 1826, after recently returning from a trip to Italy, Dr. David Long, one of the first medical doctors in the Cleveland area, was so impressed with the beauty of Township No. 6 - Range 13 of Western Reserve, that he persuaded the townspeople to name the new township "Parma," after its counterpart in central Italy.

there are TWO parmas in this world. is the shirt from parma OHIO? or parma ITALY???!! did lee even go to parma italy? im sorry, i dont study lees parma apparel closely enough to know the difference... ahem...

There is a Parma near Mount Merapi as well. Indonesians aren't very creative.
It's a complete mystery as to where Lee went in Italy, and whether he DID actually go to Parma... I guess we'll never know...
